2TX0 BueSky Intergalactic Fly in April 25, 2009

I'm not as handy as Ryan on the computer (or communication skills), but here is a short update. We had a good turnout considering winds at 20 (forcast at 30). We had a freshly restored L-2, an L-4, L-5, PT-27, BT-13, T-34s, many antiques, homebuilts, and general flyers.
EAA chapter fed about 340 folks breakfast.
Lots of nice flybys, flour bombing and spot landing contest, and lots of interested folks.
Attendies of interest included several local veterans; a B-29 navigator who was shot down over Japan and held POW, A B-17 tail gunner from the 493rd bomb group, and many, many others.
I will try to get some pictures of the L birds to post.
