Besides Ft. Sill, OK, Brownwood, TX, and Lamesa, TX, where else did Liaison Pilots train?

One of our L-5's was in a training accident while flying out of I think MS or AR. I'll try to get the specifics.

My buddies L-5 did time in Waco and Paris in addition to the others listed. It also was stationed at Camp Young California for the desert training exercises, not a "traditional" liaison trainnig site.
Our L-4's record card shows US Army Artillery School, Fort Sill OK after it's return, while another L-5 card I saw showed Post Field OK (which is at Ft Sill). Not sure if there was really a difference between those 2 sites other than who filled out the card.

Interesting. Come to think of it I may have heard of Waco having some training as well.

I also remember seeing a picture of El Paso being a huge L-5 base.

The L-4A my neighbor is restoring was assigned to Miller Whitting Airport, North Dakota, Lubbock TX Air Base, Artesia NM, Lubbock again, Plainview TX, then Lamesa TX.
Appears it was used for glider training, not Artillery or Liaison work.

I was at the Mid Atlantic Air Museum WWII Weekend with my Cub and spoke to two L-4 pilots. One flew operationally in the PTO and the other was an instructor at some base near OK City.
