I am looking for a L-5 restoration project and was wondering if 0-435-C was the proper engine for the L-5.

My info says Lycoming O-435-1 (L-5, B, C, E) or O-435-11 (G model).
There have been some L-5s listed for sell at what looks to me to be a pretty low price.

Stinson club site might have something.
The numbers I listed are from the L-5 manuals I have. I have seen other places that show the O-435-C as the military version.

O-435-C (civilian) = O-435-1 (military) 12-volt accessories. MA4-SPA carb
O-435-C1 (civilian) = O-435-11 (military) 24-volt accessories. MA4-5 carb.

O-435-1 (185hp) used on O-62, L-5, L-5B, L-5C and L-5E. OY-1
O-435-11 (190hp) used on L-5G and OY-2.
