Well, I don't know if anyone is visiting this forum anymore, but if you are - what kind of content would you like to see on the aircraft pages at www.lbirds.com?

In no particular order
photos of L-birds during their time in service.
information to accurately restore and present these planes (the battery/radio info a while back was nice)
information on the men who flew them and what they did with them.
fun places to take these planes, or see them (Keokuk was fun, OSH is always great) We had an L-2, L-5, L-19, and PT-27 up for a parade fly-over last Saturday, we are always looking for an excuse to get em out.
parts that someone wants to get rid of
meet some new folks with similar interest (kinda fun to meet the face behind the messages)
Some pictures of the OSH bikini nights
etc

Hi Guys,
checking in today, nice idea with a L-bird forum and good suggestions from Blue Sky and Freddy. As you all know there is considerable interest in the wartime records for L-birds, but records are scarce. I have always suspected that somewhere there might be records (historians, militaria collectors, reenactors, veterans (we´re unfortunately running out of them) etc) that needs to be connected to postwar L-bird drivers. A picture database is one thing a "Wikipedia"-style register pf L-birds another and it might be a good idea to ferret out what might be found on other WW 2 forums. If as many as possible pitch in the jigsaw might become clearer and we might find out more about our dear birds history.

What say you?

Just (L-)4 fun/ Jörgen

Hmmm. Well, I guess what we need to find is the Jim Gray of the other aircraft. He's got a lot of the documents and history on the L-5 - and is working on a book, so we won't be duplicating any of his efforts out of friendship. What I would like to see is that Lbirds.com not be so dense that it isn't user-friendly, but also point to lots of different resources.

Ryan,

Cub Club and the Krogs have a great deal of information from the old L4 Grasshopper Wing of the Club. You might be able to get some info from them. Other than that, there are a number of photos of L-4s that have been posted by guys on the J3-cub.com site as well.
