Taylor,

What kind of stringers did you use on the bottom of your L-5?

I'll have to ask Lanny, but we used the normal modern day stuff.... thats all I know how to describe it from a non A&P POV Smile You can see my stringers in this shot (radio racks in my G model)...

Cool, it looks like the 108, or stearman stuff. Do you have contact for Lanny? I need to try to find some fillet brackets for the wing root.

It's an E, probably going to make it a Late 45 pacific airplane. A few "Field" mods. I want to either put rocket tubes on it or bomb racks. problem is, I can't find any photos of the Ambulance with rockets on it.

An original cage for the bottom, not mine, I'm just copying it. Getting ready to make the stringers to the original print.

Close up of stringers

Cable lay-up should have the tailwheel steering and rudder cables done this after noon.

An original Battery, never had acid in it.

Obviously loading and wiring the rockets in the tubes, but where is this photo taken?

Notice the TBM in the background?

I have thought about putting the bazookas on my a/c after a year of judging. I think they look cool, but I wonder if they affect performance? BTW this is where I would get the bazookas : http://www.whatpriceglory.com/usbazooka.htm

Problem is certifiing the installation. Being a Standar cat airplane, there is a lot of engineering going into it.
