I found a messed up prop tip that looks like its from a cub in a trunk from my grandparent's home. I'm assuming its from an L4 my grandpa flew. Its interesting to me and I wish I knew the story cause I just don't know any pilot that keeps a bent prop that they didn't bend themselves. I just wanted to share a find with people that I think would enjoy this as much as I am.

Is it a metal prop or a wooden prop?

Interesting. Hard to pin-point it from that much, but some folks could probably figure it out if they saw it in person.

Looks L-4 to me. A lot of the props were painted with yellow tips in the field. (not by Sensenich or Fahlin). Looks appropriate to me if your grandfather flew L-4s... Wonder what the backstory is on just how it came to be seperated from the rest of the prop... These aircraft were nothing more than jeeps to beat up for the common GI and airmen, so they went through a lot of props...
