| Hi all, excellent Forum, I hope it is a success. I'm currently rebuilding a 1944 L4H, a veteran of Operation Dragoon, the Allied Invasion of the South of France in August 1944. It last flew 25 Years ago but the hope is that she will take to the skies again in 2009. Please follow my progress at the below link where you will find the full hisotry of 44-79580 as well as her discovery and subsequent restoration efforts of the last 2 years: http://www.planeheritage.com/l4up.htm Tony Hoskins Engineering Manager Plane Heritage Ltd www.planeheritage.comtony@planeheritage.com | |

| We will be updating the website again too with about the last 4 months worth of work, I'm almost ready to cover the inside and work has started on the wings. Once covered i'll be overhauling the A65 and am hopeful that it will fly in 2009. | |

| I'm in the UK, but the airline I work for flies to Los Angeles, San Francisco, and Las Vegas so its quite easy for me to collect bits from various crew hotels. I've brought back most of my cub spares that way. Shame actually, I was out at Palomar only recently to look at an aeroplane out there - didn't get time to get to Chino though - next time maybe!
