U.S. Navy NE-1

Hello Everyone;

An NE-I was used off a Carrier during WW II
for liaison during the invasion of Saipan..... (I believe). I can not find any info on
the NE-1 through books or the Internet.......... Only slight info on Wikipedia about
Bu # 26359 stationed at Moffet Field with Airship Squadron 32. Moffett Field Museum
did not know there was such an aircraft ........So no help there.
Any help with information, (or where to find it), will be greatly appreciated .

If you know what Carrier it was off of, they usually have a website for all the WW2 carriers, if so try thier webpage and post about it .

The Plane was flown off of PYBS-37 in July of 1942.. I have the picture, but can't upload it..
